The studio

Every board has a history we can name.

ARTISTIC ARBOR CARE began as a tree-care crew. When a storm took down a 120-year-old white oak in a client garden, we asked whether we could mill it instead of chipping it. That oak became a dining table. Nine years later we have rescued more than 200 trees from the chipper.

  • Storm-fallen and salvaged timber only - never clear-cut
  • Joined with mortise-and-tenon, no staples or particle board
  • Every piece numbered, documented and repairable
